05 March Long time no seeWow has it really been 9 months sence I've blogged? It seems like my blog buddies have moved on with their lives as well. Time flies when your having fun I guess~!
Well things a little diffrent in my life lately........Got a promotion at work, and I'm acually getting to work early LOL Will wonders never cease! Also really jumping on the healthy wagon and OMG get this I'm acaully waking up at 4:30 and going to the gym with my hubby and daughter. Been eating alot healthier sence new years, and as of March 1st joined a weightloss challange at work to keep me motivated. I say $2000 prize can motivate anyone!
Just recently found the world of digital scapbooking and will post some when I get the time. Not sure when that will be the spring cleaning bug is starting to nip me in the butt (It's about time!)
Soooo until next time :) 26 June Birthday's galore!I think it is officially birthday month in my family. There are 6 birthday's this month. I can hardly catch my breath! Only have a couple left to celebrate and I already bought my hubby's present :)
My oldest sister turned 50 this year and we sure did surprise her. She tought she was going to spend the weekend with sister number 3 out of town. Well in a way she did, just with myself and sister number 2 and also my mom! We just showed up at her house with our bags packed. My birthday's sister's husband even went as far as to pour atifreeze in the drive to stall for time. Which I bought and his wife didn't. Guess I was having a blond moment!
So we get to sister number 3's house and eat lunch. During that time we sneeked out to load her things in the car....we are so sneeky! After lunch we say we are late for our movie and head out. Too bad her boy was so sad to see her go, it brought up ???? So we all hop in the car and head west. We finally pull up at this cute cottage we had rented in Calistoga, right after one quick stop for snacks and wine tasting.
I am so glad we really used the house and relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. We had a few days of much needed visiting too! We also celebrated sister number 3's birthday as well as it was just a week prior. We set up in the back yard and just had a grand day! A few wine tastings later and a few great meals, I can say all in all we had a wonderful time. I'm just wondering why we havn't gotten all the girls together before.
So sence this has taken me so long to wrtie I have to say Happy Birthday to my Hubby John. 38 spankings and a pinch to grow on. We should be celebrating starting this weekend on our week long camping trip to yosemite and Monterey.Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! 02 June Camping at Collins LakeJust wanted to share some of our camping picture's from last weekend. We went to Collins lake and had a great time! We got a chance to try out Nanuk's new camping pen, which btw worked awesome! We also took our golf cart camping for the first time, which was a good think otherwise it would have killed us in gas runing back and forth to the real bathrooms .
The lake is also a great place to go fishing. They stock it with 40,000 fish each season. The only downfall was some of the camping sights had alot of foxtails. So if you do decied to go there ask about a spot that is foxtail free. Nanuk loved all the extra attention and brushing sessions tho!
      10 May Bad dreamsSo my husband has been going to the gym now for several months.....at 4:30 in the morning. I make sure he is awake when the alarm goes off then I snuggle up in the blankets and go back to sleep until 6 or so. For about a week I have a little nightmare after he gets out of bed. Sowhen he gets home he asks me "No bad dreams, right?" then of course I tell him so wierd tale of my mini nightmare. He was even joking this morning of recording my nightmare as I tell him in the morning just so maybe I can make a book someday. I guess I must have some out there dreams for him to think that! Man I hope this stops soon, cuase there is no way I can get up to work out at 4:30 I'm so NOT a morning person! I'm going to try not eating after 6pm and see if that makes a diffrence. Wish me luck~ 09 May 1st placeWell i forgot to share this with you all..........My daughter had a great time at the music in the parks in california. The choir was awesome and they ended up taking 1st place!! I'm so proud of her!
 They brought home a huge trophey, and it was the first time the middle school choir had won.I know she really enjoys singing and I'm sure this will keep her motivated to keep up the good work! American idol look out~ D day at work :(Last week i missed a couple days due to being sick and I guess all hell broke loose. So monday when i went into work I heard we are downsizing and two people were already let go  So then after an hour after being there another of my friends was let go, the one that always covers me when I'm gone  so I hope we are done for now, but will know more after our meeting on Wednesday.01 May Intimate time awayHad a wonderful time for our anniversary this weekend. No worries of a sitter for our girl, cause she was off on a school field trip. My hubby spoiled me rotten! Enjoyed a fantastic dinner with with works and I think one to many martini's for me, cause I don't think the people accross the way from us appriciated me making out with my honey
 Thank god we had a wild time cause I was just about spent at the late hour of 8:30  Did I mention that the martini's were great there? The next day we spent going to the local town and going on long walks together, and almost got suckered into buying a time share in the new building. What a great relaxing day! We also had some company (our friends Jan and Denise) and had some good laughs watching the naked neighbors while sitting in the hot tub. That night at midnight we had to pick up our daughter, talk about a late field trip! Will let ya know of her adventures on my next post. Was thinking we should sleep in the next day until i was laying there saying why waste the day. Got up went to town, had killer breakfast and then had play time in the pool. By this time my hubby and I are looking rather red but I couldn't find the sun screen before we left the house
 So the fun part of our day behind us we then tackle our backyard. We finally got rid of our old weight system and swing set WooHoo!! So after all was said and done Johnny and I are both beat red and spent! We decied to lay down for a nap and omg he left his pillow  So after a big fight trying to get the $120 dollar thing back they find it and weee back to the time share~ So I sit here now wondering is it really Monday and do I have to go to work?
So after all that guess what..............I found the sunscreen DOH!
25 April 13th AnniversaryWell today marks our 13th wedding anniversary~ I have to say it does not seem like we have been married so long. I still feel like newlyweds
 It's hard to picture what my life would be without him, and I must say he is all I could want or wish for! Here's to another 13 more years. Ya know if have to take baby steps to get to that 50 year anniversary  Going to try to get a nice dinner outta him tonight, but our big plan is for Friday. We booked a room at our spa resort time share and I'm treating us both to massages and he is treating us to dinner. I'm very much looking forward to it! 24 April Getting ready for camping...with company!Well we started thinking about getting ready for Memorial day weekend. We picked up our trailer to start organizing it for step one. Then Ryan and Carrie came over Saturday for Ryan would be so kind to help us get our fishing gear cleaned and buy new gear. After what my husband bought on new gear, I'm not sure if I should be thanking him
hehe They were only going to stay a few hours but we suckered them into staying bahahahaIt's amazing what people will do for a buffet Had a great time just catching up and spending time with Charlie. Yes, I said Charlie! They acually brought Charlie over to our house again!!! No seriously we had fun, and as usual it went way to fast! So Carrie, sence you offered to prune my rose bushes would ya do the whole yard for $30 bucks? Neutering day has came and wentWell Nanuk is on the mend. We had a couple bumpy days after the surgery but he is doing wonderful now. We have been bringing him to the dog park 3 times a day to keep his spirits up and because he didn't want to pee at our house. He is getting tired of wearing his cone but he'll get through it.   |
